During the Global pandemic, my sister and I reached out to local and international families going through difficult and tragic situations. We combined our efforts and resources to help meet their needs during this crisis. As the Covid-19 pandemic worsened, leading to dramatic loss of human life and unprecedented challenges related to health, food shortages, and unemployment; we saw that more must be done. We adopted a new mission to help the most vulnerable people and families to receive the nutrition, water, and healthcare they needed to survive and thrive. Realizing that there was limited assistance available, we invited our family members to contribute with their resources to help with this emergency to achieve this. After this wonderful joint effort with my family, I recognized the urgency for a collective endeavor in solidarity to support and help families and communities during future needs. I have created Mercy in Action International to show that love and mercy during a catastrophe can change lives forever. Together we can work to address and respond to emergency situations to those most in need.
